Hey, I’m Marketa

I help people who struggle with bloating, digestive issues, and low energy heal their gut and trust their body again through simple, sustainable steps.

About me

I know exactly how it feels to wake up wondering if today will be "one of those days"—bloated, in pain, too tired to enjoy life. I've done the tests, tried the diets, followed all the rules, but nothing seemed to work. I was eating "right" but my body just wouldn't respond. The truth? My body wasn't broken—it just needed something different than what the books were telling me.

For over 20 years, I lived with chronic digestive pain until I discovered how to combine western science with ancient wisdom to heal naturally. Now, as a certified nutritionist, health coach, forever student, and someone who's been exactly where you are, I help people restore their gut health with a step-by-step approach that's sustainable, personalized, and actually works. No more guessing. No more restrictions. Just simple changes that fit your life—so you can finally feel good in your body again.

What Clients are Saying

“Over the past three months, I had the opportunity to be coached by Marketa, and this experience has been truly transformative.

Through her guidance, I learned the foundations of Chinese dietetics and, more importantly, came to understand something essential: when I act in favor of my body, it responds positively. Thanks to her, I now make better food choices with greater awareness and confidence. Eating and cooking are no longer sources of pressure or restriction; instead, they have become moments of self-love and care. Preparing my meals has become something I genuinely enjoy.

Beyond her knowledge, Marketa is an incredibly gentle and patient coach. She took the time to explain everything clearly, always with kindness and empathy, which made the process feel safe and empowering. I am deeply grateful for her support and highly recommend her to anyone looking to reconnect with their body in a respectful and holistic way.”

“I went through consultations with Marketa and learned many things I hadn’t known before. First, Marketa gathers all the relevant information about you and then prepares a personalized plan. Some foods we eat believing they are healthy, but they are truly healthy only when they are handled and prepared in the right way. I really appreciated that after the consultation I received an updated document explaining what to prepare and how to prepare it. Even though I’m no longer continuing with the consultations, the knowledge I gained has influenced me greatly, and I follow it every day.”

“For a long time, I’ve been trying to figure out what, how, and when I eat, in order to find the right balance between work, movement, food, and stress.
And even though, on some subconscious level, a person kind of senses what their body is asking for, I learned to ignore it a little—because the offer of all those tasty treats is huge, and you get the feeling that if you deny yourself something, you’re actually depriving yourself of something.

Marketa helped me look at food and my body from a new perspective. Even healthy food, chosen specifically for my body type, can be really delicious, and I don’t have to immediately stop eating everything I like—I just need to complement it properly to start with. When we went through my meal plan together, you could really feel what was good for the body and what wasn’t. Marketa guided me through it and added advice on which foods to include in my diet or which ingredients to add to meals I was already eating, so they would be even more nourishing for my body and allow it to get the maximum benefit from each ingredient.

Since I’m the type of person who’s always cold, on Marketa’s advice I started avoiding foods that have a cooling effect. I stopped drinking acidophilus milk, cold yogurts, and cold salads, and instead added warm meals.
My mornings now mostly consist of warm oatmeal or scrambled eggs. At least 3–4 times a week I have broth or some kind of soup.

I don’t overeat. I try to eat only what my body asks for, and when you really pay attention, you already know roughly what portion size you need so that nothing is left over.

All of these “small” changes added to my regular diet have a big impact on how I feel and how I feel about myself. I believe a person doesn’t have to change absolutely everything to feel better, and Marketa was my springboard to becoming more interested in what foods we choose, how we prepare and combine them, and what specific effect they have on my body—which is trying to communicate with me. And for that, I thank her very much!”

  • Not at all! I don't force any specific diet on you. If you're vegan, vegetarian, or have any other dietary preferences, we'll work with that. My approach is all about finding what works for YOUR unique body and lifestyle. We'll make sustainable changes that fit how you already live—no restrictions, no rigid rules. Just simple tweaks that actually make sense for you.

  • Honestly, not as much as you might think. I teach you techniques that don't require hours in the kitchen (unless you love cooking and want to spend more time there!). A bit of meal planning and preparation is necessary, yes, but everything I show you is designed to fit into your real life. We're talking small, doable changes—not a complete lifestyle overhaul that's impossible to maintain.

  • My goal is that you won't need me anymore after we're done. Seriously! I want you to feel confident, empowered, and completely in control of your own health. That said, I always check in on my clients from time to time just to see how they're doing. And you're always welcome to reach out if you need an extra mentoring session down the road.

  • Absolutely. I work with people who have intolerances, hypothyroidism, suspected SIBO, and other conditions all the time. During our free 20-minute discovery call, we'll talk through your specific situation, and I'll be completely honest with you about whether I can help. If I think you need a different type of support, I'll tell you. But if we're a good fit, we'll create a personalized protocol that works with your body's unique needs.

  • The program is online through Google Meet, so you can join from anywhere. But if you happen to live in Gran Canaria, I'd love to meet with you in person! (And if you ARE living in Gran Canaria, I might visit your kitchen and we can do some grocery shopping together! :) ) Either way, you'll get the same level of support and attention.

  • That's exactly why I offer a free 20-minute discovery call! We'll talk about where you're at, what you've tried, and what you're hoping to achieve. I'll be honest with you about whether I think I can help. There's no pressure—just a real conversation to see if we're the right fit. If we are, amazing! If not, no hard feelings. I just want to make sure you get the support that's best for you.
